Who I am
I'm Samantha Kaye Harris. I spent 27+ years in the trades.
I started out working with and assisting mechanics. I grew into a lead, then a supervisor with my own units of tradespeople, and went on to supervise crews of 102+ tradespeople across multiple trades. I loved the work, and the banter with my union brothers on the crew. Union strong.
As a supervisor, I brought women in and trained them. Every woman who worked for me went on to become a mechanic or a supervisor.
I received the MLK Jr. Leadership Award, and I'm the author of Your TRUTH Changes Everything. Now I coach tradeswomen who are staying, who are skilled, and who are done being dismissed.
